7 Simple Ways to Control Your Anger

7 Simple Ways to Control Your Anger.

How to Control Your Anger

One of the traces of living a blissful lifestyle is attaining a healthy and well-balanced mindset. However, quite too often, we allow anger to get the best of us which in most cases compels you to make rushed decisions that would otherwise seem extreme.

Being angry to annoying situations is quite natural and it happens to the best of us. Nonetheless, if you allow your anger to have a strong hold on you, you will find that you’re always misbehaving so much so that even little nudge will result in you crossing the line. For example, your child mistakenly dropping a plate, a paper jam in the printer, your husband’s wandering eye, or loud neighborhood children will all become channels to an avoidable outburst of anger.

The good news is that you can triumph over your anger! Although you can not avoid other people’s actions (especially the one’s that really know how to wind you up till you crack!), but you can learn other sets of actions for releasing those stress! Anger, if not controlled has [Read more…]

Affirmation: Anger Management – I release anger from my soul

Affirmation: Anger Management – I release anger from my soul.

Using Affirmation For Anger Management…

Anger is part of us human beings and it is a natural response when we are frustrated, insulted, deceived or attacked. Anger can also be a signal that someone is suffering from mental health issues.

A lot of times, people see anger in a negative manner but it can be quite useful, although at times it can be very frightening when one fails to control anger. When you are angry, there is an adrenalin rush that initiates your body to prepare for ‘fight or breakaway’, it gives you energy and at the same time makes you feel tense. Releasing this energy and tension in a constructive way is actually good for you. However, in most circumstances, our response to anger isn’t helpful at all but rather makes things worse than better.

Anger itself is not a problem but how you deal with it can be… this is why anger management is crucial.

Anger becomes a problem when people around you are or feel hurt. This really depends on how you express your anger. Have you noticed that most times when you actually feel angry, it is usually about something that is happening to you at the time? And funny enough it is over very quickly – though the anger may stay with you for as long as you allow it! Just like, for example, when you sound your horn because the driver in front of you caused you to brake suddenly…

Some of us have had to learn to control our angers. However, as you are reading this it shows that you are looking for ways to help you or your loved one control anger. The words of affirmation below will certainly help you in managing anger.

Now let’s go. [Read more…]

Lent is a solemn religious performance in the calendar of many Christian denominations and normally starts on Ash Wednesday and covers a period of approximately six weeks before Easter Day – about 40 days in total. The traditional purpose of Lent is the preparation of the believer through prayer, penance and repentance of sins, alms-giving, atonement and self-denial.

4 Top Tips to Help You Get Started With Decluttering Your Life

4 Top Tips to Help You Get Started With Decluttering Your Life.

How to Declutter Your Life

“Insanity is doing the same thing, over and over again, but expecting different results.” ― Narcotics Anonymous,

Although I am still a work in progress but dear friend, the fact that you’re even reading this post signifies that just like I did, you have come to the realization that you need to declutter your life. You see, about a couple of years ago, I had to really take a long look at my life and made some drastic decisions that although at the time were unpalatable; difficult to let go of some things and people in my life. But… it felt good! And my life is so much less complicated!

If you’re like I was, you most likely always have so much to do and never enough time! You have so much difficulty in handling your schedule optimally. Also, you almost certainly own too much stuff than you ever need and just keep adding more to them every day.

One of the excuses I used to give myself was the fact that I have three girls and so they need to look nice all the time and so I would buy this, that and that… Most of which were never worn! I love reading… and so I was always buying books and magazines… yes, you guess right… some I never read. I had friends that were zapping energy from me. You know the ones that are constantly taking but had nothing much to give me… and no I’m not talking about monetary things to give but moral support.

May be you’re not as bad as I was, but the truth is that most people would probably be better off with at least a little decluttering. But how do you go about it? [Read more…]

3 Exceptional Ways to Cut Down On Your Monthly Expenses

3 Exceptional Ways to Cut Down On Your Monthly Expenses.

I don’t know about you but the need to cut down monthly expenses stares at me almost every day now. I have noticed how almost every week prices of daily household items are creeping up. I went to my local supermarket the other day and to my surprise, when I got home I noticed that the toothpaste I normally buy even though I paid the same usual price tag but the content had been reduced! It was smaller size toothpaste than the usual!

How cheeky is that?

Anyway, if you look around you, the economic situation is not getting any better and so it is up to individuals to make every necessary adjustment to stretch their hard-earned money. Cut down monthly expenses and make your money last longer – so to say! There is absolutely no shame in wanting to save money on your monthly expenses. Apart from saving you some bucks, think of the lessons you’re teaching the next generation, because believe me… it’s not going to get any easier for them and the earlier they start learning the better prepared they’ll be.

Likewise, as a result of the current state of the economy, flashing your frugality is actually considered to be cool! Plus, the more money you save on necessities, the more money you can spend on what you really want… things that really matter to you!

Surely, you’re aware of the obvious money-saving ideas, such as clipping coupons, or [Read more…]

Road to Success: How to Stop Making The Same Mistakes

Road to Success: How to Stop Making The Same Mistakes.

Far too many believe they are on the road to success when in fact they are just going round in circle due to making the same mistakes over and over again.

If you struggle frequently to be successful, it is more likely to be that you repeat the same mistakes over and over. Unless you find a way out of the problem of repeating mistakes, a blissful lifestyle will remain a dream. The good news is that by developing a weekly habit of examining your mistakes and coming up with better alternatives for the next time you can easily correct the problem and be on the road to success.

Just as a chain is limited by the strength of its weakest link, our success is limited by the quality of our worst decisions. When you continue to do the same thing that does not yield desired results you are delaying your success. Removing mistakes is a powerful way to become more successful in life. [Read more…]

4 Most Common Leadership Mistakes That Can Cost You… Big Time!

4 Most Common Leadership Mistakes That Can Cost You… Big Time!.

Do You Making These Leadership Mistakes?

“A man must be big enough to admit his mistakes, smart enough to profit from them, and strong enough to correct them.”
 John C. Maxwell

One of the causes of leadership mistakes is often because individuals do not recognise their position as a leader. I bet you’re wondering… “how can one be a leader and not know?”

Well, come with me…

Before we go too far, I think it’s necessary to define who a leader is because there are far too many people out there that are in a leadership position but do not know it. Yes, just because you did not apply or were not appointed for a leadership role does not mean you are not a leader in your own right, you’re most probably a leader in many ways.

Do you have kids? Do you have younger siblings? Do you find that friends tend to come to you for advice? Do you serve as a team leader at the office, your local Church or your community? Do you have people (yes, even just one!) that look up to you?

Many of the roles in your life involve some type of leadership. You might be surprised by how easily your actions can impact others. Some of these “leadership positions” may seem basic to you, but [Read More..]
